WIP Wednesday (November ‘24)

November has come very quickly… but fear not, I am still chugging away on various projects. I am a little behind on some previous projects so I’m not picking up a lot of new things this month; just enough to keep me busy!

Knitting

No Frills Sweater

Okay… I've had the Rico Creative Melange DK yarn (in 013 light pastel) for ages and I had tried to knit up the PetiteKnit Stockholm sweater. I then misunderstood the composition of the piece, meaning that the ombré effect of the jumper would look very odd when joining new yarn. So, I unravelled it all and was kind of left with a bit less than I originally had since I'd chopped up a lot of the yarn attempting to stitch it into a nice transition.*

So I had to think carefully about a new pattern - and I think the PetiteKnit No Frills sweater will work, plus I'll get another stab at what should be a simple raglan pattern (I have previously attempted raglan with the PetiteKnit Terrazzo sweater and I gave up because I hated tracking the increases so much).**

Printmaking

Saturnalia Print

I am very keen to make a Saturnalia print for this year but I'm still working through the ideas stage… some sources of inspiration can be found on my little Canva moodboard. Stay tuned for more!
