Hi! My name is Chloe, and I am a knitting tech editor.
I have several years of experience as a proofreader and content editor and I recently completed Carol Ibbetson’s tech editing and pattern grading courses. I’m particularly keen to work with new, independent designers but I am open to all enquiries.

Tech Editing
I offer full tech editing services for knitting patterns, which includes:
- checking patterns for consistency and clarity
- ensuring there are no mathematical errors in measurements, stitches or rows throughout
- formatting patterns to the desired style
- if relevant, checking stitch patterns, charts and schematics
Pattern Grading
I offer size-inclusive pattern grading for an accurate and consistent fit across all sizes.
Chart and Schematic Creation
I can create diagrams, including:
- charts for stranded colourwork/intarsia, lace, cables, etc.
- accurate schematics with measurements
Pattern Translation
I offer pattern translations in the following languages:
- Spanish > English
- Catalan > English
