Hi! My name is Chloe, and I am a knitting tech editor.

I have several years of experience as a proofreader and content editor and I recently completed tech editing and pattern grading training with Carol Ibbetson at Cool Wool School. I’m particularly keen to work with new, independent designers but I am open to all enquiries.

Services

Tech Editing

I offer full tech editing services for knitting patterns, which includes:

  • checking patterns for consistency and clarity and ensuring there are no errors throughout
  • formatting patterns to the desired style

Pattern Grading

I offer size-inclusive pattern grading.

Chart and Schematic Creation

I can create diagrams, including:

  • charts for colourwork, lace, cables, etc.
  • schematics with measurements

Hourly rates are available upon request.
