I started working on some larger projects like jumpers this month, so progress is slightly slower and less exciting. But still, a few updates…

Aosta Cardigan

I managed to both cast on and finish this cardigan this month, thanks to it being a chunky yarn. It used to be a cardigan which I knitted when I was a relative beginner, but the construction wasn’t great, it didn’t fit that well, I was twisting my purl stitches… So I frogged and repurposed it into the Aosta Cardigan, and incorporated a quatrefoil lace stitch, which I am quite proud of. Now it fits much better and looks much cleaner, so it’s a huge improvement in my eyes.
(Below is the old cardigan which I frogged.)

WIP
Stripe Overload Cardi
I really wanted to knit the Off-Grid Sweater by Rows, but I struggled the whole time – I couldn’t meet gauge and found it very tiring knitting aran weight yarn on relatively thin needles, and I found the pattern really hard to follow. So I frogged it all, bought some mohair and reused the white and light blue/green yarn for the Stripe Overload Cardi by Spektakelstrik, which is going comparatively much better – and I think I prefer the design. Look how sweet my short rows are looking!!!
